Joining two corrugated tube segments often leaves a weak point at the coupling — where conventional fittings allow moisture ingress. The GWTF-AD eliminates this with a patented internal/external counter-tightening thread design that delivers IP68 and IP69K dual waterproof protection at the joint, maintaining full seal integrity even under high-pressure water jet washdown.
Made from halogen-free UL94V-2 PA66 nylon with EPDM seals, it supports both equal-bore and reducer configurations, covering same-size tube extensions and cross-size transitions in a single product family. Static operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 100°C.

Equal-bore coupling extends same-size corrugated tube runs inside machinery. IP68 sealing protects the cable path from coolant fluids and cutting oils in machining environments.
Reducer types allow smooth transitions between different tube diameters along a cable route — essential for large-scale installations where mixed tube sizes are required.
IP69K protection withstands high-temperature, high-pressure water jets — suitable for food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, and other equipment requiring frequent high-pressure cleaning.
IP68 (IEC 60529) certifies protection against continuous water immersion — typically at 1 meter depth for 30 minutes or more. IP69K certifies protection against close-range, high-temperature, high-pressure water jet washdown, as required by food machinery and washdown environments. The GWTF-AD achieves both ratings simultaneously, covering the full range from submersion to high-pressure cleaning scenarios.
Equal-bore types have the same port size at both ends — use them to extend a cable run with the same corrugated tube size. Reducer types have different port sizes at each end — use them where the cable route transitions from a larger tube to a smaller one (or vice versa). Before ordering, confirm the outer diameter (OD) of each tube segment; if both are the same, select equal-bore; if they differ, select the corresponding reducer size.
Conventional couplings typically use a single-end locking mechanism — one end is fixed while the other is rotated to tighten. This requires holding one tube stationary during installation. The GWTF-AD's patented design allows both ends to be tightened independently with balanced clamping force — neither end needs to be held fixed. This simplifies installation and provides more even locking force across both joints.
The GWTF-AD is sized by corrugated tube outer diameter (OD), making it compatible with any nylon corrugated tube of the matching OD, regardless of brand. When ordering, provide the tube OD size (e.g., AD13, AD21.2) to confirm the correct coupling model. If you are already using Good Gi corrugated tubing, the fitting sizes correspond directly.
The GWTF-AD is made from halogen-free PA66 nylon (UL94V-2) — a non-toxic, halogen-free material — and the IP69K rating supports high-pressure hot water washdown, making it suitable for external protective wiring in general food processing and medical equipment settings. If your application requires specific food safety certification (such as FDA compliance), please contact our sales team for material documentation to confirm it meets your certification requirements.
